Raritan River Bridge Replacement Project Public Information Sessions

NJ TRANSIT in cooperation with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is holding Public Information Sessions on the Raritan River Bridge Replacement Project. The sessions are being held in two locations:

NJ TRANSIT is proposing to replace the Raritan River Drawbridge with a new bridge located near the existing bridge to address the existing bridge’s vulnerability to major storm events and enhance the reliability of rail operations on the North Jersey Coast Line (NJCL).

Detailed information about the project will be available at the Public Information Sessions, which provide opportunities for the public and agencies to comment on the project. Comments may also be submitted electronically via this website.
